Launched today, the ‘Design My Break’ initiative is designed to help improve the lifestyle of young people and provide a positive legacy for the future. It builds on GE’s existing involvement with the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG) to support their Get Set education programme for the last three years. GE is also working with a number of partners on the initiative including the LOCOG/Food Standards Agency ‘SmallSteps4Life’ programme, the Youth Sports Trust, the Schools Food Trust and the Department of Health.
Creative Edge were brought in to oversee the design elements of the project including the identity, flyers, posters and website. To complete the identity an afternoon of photography was arranged at a Bristol school, with fantastic results. 21 enthusiastic pupils got to experience being under the glare of studio lights and camera, whilst the Design My Break identity and marketing materials were brought to life with a superb set of images.
